The international XELLA Group operates in the three business segments of building materials, dry lining systems and raw materials. The holding company of the enterprise is Xella International GmbH with headquarters in Duisburg, Germany.

Brands such as YTONG, HEBEL and SILKA make XELLA the world’s largest manufacturer of aerated concrete and calcium-silicate blocks, while FERMACELL is a leading gypsum fibreboard brand. The company manufactures and sells aerated concrete in the USA under the brand name HEBEL. A further sales office is located in Texas.

XELLA operates in more than 30 countries with 7,643 employees today. XELLA realized a sales volume of 1.3 billion euros in Fiscal Year 2007.
